WHAT IS A TRAVEL SIM CARD?
It is a roaming sim that allows you to access the internet and stay connected in more than 70 countries worldwide, without paying expensive roaming fees and with no hidden charges.
CAN I USE MY TRAVEL SIM CARD IN MULTIPLE COUNTRIES?
You can use your travel sim in all supported countries within the allowable number of days depending on the sim you purchased. Please see product descriptions for more details.
DO I NEED TO REGISTER MY TRAVEL SIM CARD?
No. We have already pre-registered all travel sim cards that we offer.
WILL MY TRAVEL SIM BE ACTIVATED ONCE I PURCHASED IT?
No. It will only be activated once you insert the travel sim on your mobile phone and switch it on.
HOW TO ACTIVATE MY TRAVEL SIM?
You need to TURN ON both mobile data and data roaming options to activate your travel sim card. User guide is included.
WHERE CAN I ACTIVATE MY TRAVEL SIM?
You can activate your travel sim upon your arrival at your destination or to any of the supported country(ies) of the sim you purchased.
HOW TO COUNT THE VALIDITY OF MY TRAVEL SIM’s DATA PACKAGE?
Day 1 of your travel sim will be from the activation time until 11:59pm. Day 2 will be from 12:00am to 11:59pm and so on.
WHAT DEVICE CAN I USE?
An OPENLINE 4G/LTE smartphone is required for the travel sim to work. Unlocked phones directly from the carrier where you initially obtain your phone will also work. Unfortunately, unlocked phones by third party is not guaranteed to work as some settings will still be blocked.
CAN I USE MY TRAVEL SIM ON A POCKET WIFI DEVICE?
We cannot guarantee it will work on pocket wifi devices. We recommend to insert your travel sim on any OPENLINE 4G/LTE smartphone.
CAN I USE MY TRAVEL SIM TO SHARE DATA THRU MOBILE HOTSPOT/TETHERING?
It will depend if the travel sim card you have purchased supports mobile hotspot/tethering feature. Only the fast speed data allocation of your plan can be shared. Please see product description for more details.
WILL I BE NOTIFIED ONCE I HAVE REACHED THE LIMIT OF MY DATA PLAN?
Yes. An sms will be sent to you once you have consumed your high speed data allocation.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER I HAVE CONSUMED ALL THE FAST SPEED DATA ALLOCATION FROM MY PACKAGE?
If the travel sim you have purchased comes with limited data plan, then your data will stop and will be unusable anymore. While, if your package comes with unlimited data plan, then your data will just be shifted to unlimited low speed. Data sharing is not available once on low speed.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HIGH SPEED DATA & THE 3G ON 128KBPS / 256KBPS DATA SPEED?
The high speed data gives you the max speed available in the area you are in which allows you to easily send and receive messages, photos and even videos. While 3G on 128kbps/256kbps speed gives you slow data connection but will still allow you to easily send and receive messages but will be very slow when sending and receiving photos and the like. Data sharing is not available once on low speed.
WHAT IS THE SIZE OF MY TRAVEL SIM CARD?
All travel sim comes with 3-in-1 sim size, which has standard, micro and nano size in one SIM card.
DOES MY TRAVEL SIM CARD EXPIRE?
Yes. You can check sim card expiry date on the sim’s packaging. Please make sure to activate your travel sim before the expiry date.
DO I NEED TO RETURN MY TRAVEL SIM AFTER USE?
No. You can dispose your travel sim after use.
CAN I TOP-UP/RECHARGE?
Unfortunately, we are not providing any top-up service for now.
CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?No order can be cancelled once the order has been shipped. If you want to cancel your order before shipment, please contact us immediately with your name and order number thru Viber +63917951185. If we accept the cancellation of your order, an amount of 10% of the total order will be charged as cancellation fee.
CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE MY TRAVEL SIM?
We are NOT providing any return or exchange policy as we are unable to verify whether a prepaid sim has been used or not. However, we can guarantee that every item we sell is 100% unused.
WHAT IF MY TRAVEL SIM DOES NOT WORK?
Kindly follow basic troubleshooting indicated on the user guide of your travel sim.
